Job summary

Mediclinic Winelands Orthopaedic Day Clinic in Stellenbosch, South Africa seeks an Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary - Circulating to deliver safe, basic nursing care within the Scope of Practice. You will work with a multidisciplinary team, identify risks, support a positive patient experience, and maintain accurate nursing records.

The role requires a Higher Certificate in Nursing (or equivalent) and CPD courses for specialty areas. Prior experience is not essential.

Qualifications

• ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Higher certificate in nursing (or equivalent).
• DESIRED EDUCATION: CPD courses for specific speciality areas.
• ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: None.

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience by assisting in a therapeutic environment.
• Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
• Participate in creating a learning environment that builds staff competence.
• Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charted.
