Introduction

A vacancy exists for an Enrolled Nurse at Life Knysna Private Hospital, reporting to Bianca Rondganger, Acting Unit Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing holistic patient care and building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders in line with Company & Hospital strategic objectives.

Critical Outputs

• Deliver quality patient care in compliance with SANC regulations, relevant legislations, and hospital policies.
• Maintain health, safety, and infection control standards to ensure a safe environment.
• Utilize resources effectively.
• Maintain medical equipment properly.
• Keep accurate records.
• Educate patients continuously.
• Build effective relationships with patients, doctors, and other medical personnel to ensure quality care.

Requirements

• Qualification as an Enrolled Nurse and registration with SANC.
• Nursing experience in surgical or general disciplines.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, industrial relations, standards, and ethics.
• Ability to work shifts, including day and night duties.
• Understanding of the private healthcare industry is advantageous.
