Job Opportunity : Enrolled Nurse in ICU Ward Our client in the Pharmaceutical and Medical / Healthcare industry is seeking a dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join their ICU Ward in Cape Town.

This is a permanent position for a compassionate and skilled nurse committed to providing quality health services to patients and doctors, in accordance with the Nursing Act and SANC regulations.

Responsibilities include : Patient admissions to the ward.

General ward administration.

Effective and accurate record keeping and reporting to the PN, Unit Manager, Night Supervisor, and / or doctor.

Charging of stock.

Teaching and guiding nursing assistants.

Identifying training needs of nursing assistants.

Adhering to the company's uniform policy.

Reporting on / off duty to the sister in charge and before leaving the unit at all times.

Following hospital policies, protocols, and guidelines.

Attending in-service training and education.

Maintaining professional practice standards, including registration, accountability, and responsibility, within the scope of practice as per the Nursing Act and SANC regulations.

Adhering to specific nursing functions, protocols, and policies of the assigned unit / ward / theatre.

Maintaining a high standard of nursing care.

Assessing, intervening, and reporting on patients' conditions and care through personal observations and those of others.
