Job description

Job Purpose:

Correct collection, handling, and transportation of samples for testing.

Assist with self-collection of samples and certain medical procedures under supervision of a Registered nurse or a Doctor.

Perform point of care testing.

Qualification / Knowledge:

• Grade 12 Certificate
• 2-3 Years experience
• Qualified Enrolled Nurse
• Registered with SANC
• Valid driver's License (for use of company vehicle)

Key Accountabilities:

1. Collection / Delivery of specimens, reports, and other items

• Effective collection of specimens from various clients as per SOPs
• Handle administrative duties and queries as appropriate
• Maintain safe and housekeeping standards per OH Act
• Provide functional support in the department

• Ensure the correct application of quality assurance processes in standard operating procedures
• Adherence to company policies and procedures
