Job Title: Enrolled Nurse

Location: Clinix Health Group: Occupational Health Clinic (Selby, Johannesburg)

Reports to: Head of Occupational Health

Job Summary:

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will be responsible for both direct and indirect nursing care of patients or groups of patients. You will function under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, according to the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Enrolled Nursing qualification
• Current registration with the South African Nursing Council
• BLS qualification
• Certificate in audiometry, spirometry, and vision screening
• 3+ years relevant nursing experience in the area of specialization
• Experience in an occupational health clinic within the mining sector is advantageous
• Computer proficiency is advantageous
• Office administration skills

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Perform all duties in accordance with the South African Nursing Council (SANC), Department of Health (DOH), and National Core Standards
• Adhere to principles of patient advocacy, patient rights, and the company's code of conduct, including continuous professional development (CPD)
• Plan, organize, assess, and prioritize work to ensure efficient task completion under supervision
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and clean environment, free from medico-legal hazards
• Accurately document patient care and progress in records
• Provide holistic, customer-oriented care to ensure a positive patient experience
• Apply Lean management principles to reduce wastage without compromising care
• Contribute effectively as a team member to achieve unit goals
• Capture patient medical data accurately in the system
