Job Vacancy: Enrolled Nurse (ICU Specialised) - Life Mount Edgecombe Hospital

We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse (ICU Specialised) based at Life Mount Edgecombe Hospital. The role reports to Mary Anne Vallavunthram, ICU Unit Manager. The primary purpose of this position is to conduct nursing activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties that comply with SANC regulations, relevant legislation, and hospital policies to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain health, safety, and infection control standards to provide a safe environment for patients.
• Utilize resources effectively and maintain medical equipment properly.
• Keep accurate records of nursing activities.
• Educate patients continuously about their care.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with patients, doctors, and healthcare professionals to facilitate quality care.

Requirements

• Qualification as an Enrolled Nurse
• Registration with SANC
• Ability to work shifts as per hospital operational requirements
• Knowledge of the private healthcare industry and its challenges is advantageous
• Computer proficiency is advantageous
