Job description

Woodlands International College is a prominent and established co-educational private school located on the East Rand of Gauteng, which caters to Grades 000-12. The College currently serves approximately 1 100 learners, comprising of a Pre-Primary College (Gr 000-0), Junior College (Gr 1-7), and Senior College (Gr 8-12). The Senior College is currently recruiting for a suitable candidate to fill a position as an English HL teacher with the ability to teach Business Studies, to start in January 2026. Ideally, the candidate should have at least three years’ experience in teaching English and Business Studies. IEB experience is preferrable.

The following minimum requirements also apply:

  • Bachelor of Education / PGCE is required
  • SACE registered with appropriate Police Clearance certificate
  • Innovative and enthusiastic teaching methodologies with a willingness to include technology based methods and collaborative teaching strategies
  • Excellent written and spoken English language abilities

The position encompasses teaching, as well as a commitment to providing academic support to students and an interest in participating in the varied extra-mural offerings of the school. A competitive salary package will be discussed with the suitable candidate.
