Job summary

Biovac, a leading sterile vaccine manufacturer in Africa, seeks an Engineering Technician to join a goal-oriented team in Cape Town. You will contribute to maintenance activities with a hands-on approach, bringing a sound technical ability to ensure reliable operation of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech environment, with knowledge of applicable legislation and quality audits; aseptic manufacturing experience

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position within the pharmaceutical/ biotech manufacturing industry.
• Specific machinery understanding and operational manufacturing experience within a similar environment.
• Sound technical ability and hands on approach on maintenance activities.
• Knowledge of Pharmaceutical related legislation (preferred).
• Experience with local and/or international quality audits (preferred).
• Experience in aseptic (sterile) manufacturing (preferred).
