We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Engineering Superintendent with expertise in the mining industry and Trackless Mobile Machines to oversee engineering operations for our client in Delmas. The successful candidate will manage maintenance and repair activities, ensuring smooth operations while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise maintenance and repair of trackless mobile machines, including task scheduling and team management.
• Ensure compliance with maintenance schedules, standards, procedures, safety guidelines, and quality control measures.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize equipment reliability and availability.
• Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify issues, providing technical support to the engineering team.
• Monitor equipment performance, analyze trends, and initiate corrective actions to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with procurement and production departments for timely spare parts and resources.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
• Stay informed on technological advancements and industry trends, proposing updates to enhance operations.
• Mentor and train the engineering team, fostering continuous learning and professional growth.

Requirements:

• BEng / BTech / National Diploma in Engineering
• Code 10 driver’s license
• At least 6 years of supervisory experience in a mining environment
• Experience with Trackless Mobile Machines
• Trade Test or Red Seal certification
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and dedication
