Job summary

Zepz is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the pricing, loyalty and promo platforms within our quotes infrastructure. You will own services handling high request volumes across clusters, and drive migration of legacy components while partnering with Product, Data Science and Commercial teams.

The role emphasizes talent development, operational excellence, and data-driven decisions in a remote-first, international environment. You will mentor engineers and shape roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of distributed teams delivering scalable services.
• Experience in pricing, loyalty, or promo platforms in FinTech.
• Strong cloud and containerization skills (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proficient with JVM stacks (Java/Kotlin) and mixed stacks (.NET, Node.js).
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop talent within the team.
• Create a positive and high-performing environment.
• Align the team on priorities, goals, and OKRs, including growth and loyalty initiatives.
• Hands-on participation in coding, peer reviews, and automation tests.
• Act as the initial point of contact for the team and onboarding.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to plan capacity for pricing, loyalty, and promos.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Growth Marketing, Payments, Fincrime, and Data to drive roadmaps.
