Job description

Engineering Lecturer (NATED)

Requirements:

  1. Honours / Degree in Electrical OR Mechanical Engineering.
  2. A minimum of 3 years relevant lecturing / industry experience.
  3. Management and Teaching in a tertiary environment (preferably FET College).
  4. Computer literacy is essential, especially in MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel.
  5. SACE Registration.
  6. Curriculum and assessment knowledge.
  7. Demonstrate a history of student throughput, pass rate, and understanding.

Key Performance Areas:

  1. Management of NATED Report / 1 curriculum and assessments (Engineering).
  2. Offer academic and educational leadership.
  3. Promote quality teaching and learning.
  4. Lesson planning and preparation.
  5. Classroom management and supervision.
  6. Provide academic support to learners.
  7. Create an environment that is conducive to learning.
  8. Attend relevant training workshops and apply where necessary.
  9. Assist with additional academic support.
  10. Participate in and manage all other related teaching responsibilities.

  1. Experience in employing various integrated training methods.
  2. Excellent management, administration, time management, and organizational skills.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
