Job Description
Assist the Duty Engineer & other team members of Engineering in maintenance and care of all the equipment. Maintain quality of work in order to meet the standards. Control and check all the equipment. Work according to the policies and procedures of the hotel. Handle and maintain all equipment properly. Any matter which may affect the interests of the hotel should be brought to the attention of the Management. Abide by the mission statement of the Company and of the department. Assist the Chief Engineer to identify the major facilities and equipment requirements for the department and the property. Ensure correct maintenance of all equipment in conjunction with other user departments & stay abreast of technological advances in surveillance & safety of equipment. Establish and maintain seamless coordination & cooperation with all departments of Mercure Ekana Sportz City Lucknow to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale, and guest service. Provide effective support to the team to enable them to deliver effective and efficient services. Respond to queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner. Motivate and develop the team to ensure smooth functioning of the department. Keep and render accounts of all materials used. Identify optimal, cost-effective use of the resources. Maintain all the equipment as per the specified standards. Set up drill press, lathe, millers, shapers, grinders, and thread cutter to mill, drill, turn shape, grind or thread such metals as steel, bronze, brass, etc. Responsible for the performance of heating boilers. Maintain all tools and equipment as required. Assist other departmental personnel as necessary. Complete all tasks assigned in an effective and efficient manner. Complete the necessary reports, work orders, etc. as required. Practice safety in all aspects of the job.

Qualifications
Diploma / Degree / ITI or any other equivalent qualifications.

Additional Information
2-3 Years of experience in engineering with branded hotels.
