Job summary

Sasol seeks an experienced draughting professional to generate and update engineering drawings in line with Sasol specifications. You will plan output priorities, verify discrepancies, and ensure data integrity across document systems while upholding safety and governance standards.

With 4+ years in similar roles, you will contribute to continuous improvement, collaborate with stakeholders, and maintain accuracy to support project execution within Sasol's Regional Operations and Asset Services

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with Mathematics, English and Physical Science as minimum.Instrumentation Trade Certificate is required.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in engineering documentation/draughting.
• Ability to adhere to Sasol standards, governance rules and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Generate engineering drawings according to Sasol specifications and standards.
• Plan, schedule and organise output according to priority.
• Update existing drawings and build data; recreate drawings in approved systems.
• Verify technical discrepancies and apply governance rules for discipline engineering.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of captured information; maintain QA processes.
• Adhere to safety standards and contribute to SHE performance indicators.
• Provide solutions aligned with business unit goals and values; develop relationships with stakeholders.
• Review compliance and follow up against standards and objectives; support continuous improvement.

Purpose of Job

To apply principles and concepts of area of knowledge and evaluate the documents quality, adequacy, andadherence to Sasol Group specifications and standards to archive accurate data and support the execution ofprojects or services.

Key Accountabilities

• Generate engineering drawings according to Sasol specifications and standards.
