Job summary

Fruitways is seeking an Engineering Administrator to operate from the Molteno packing operation in Grabouw, supporting the Engineering and Packing Division with data management and documentation. You will handle data uploads, maintain technical records and assist with procurement tasks.

The ideal candidate has Matric and 3–5 years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in an engineering setting, with solid MS Office skills and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a relevant administrative position.
• Engineering industry experience is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
• Proficient in MS Office; Excel is advantageous.

ENGINEERING ADMINISTRATOR

We have a career opportunity for a self-motivated individual who is able to work independently and accurately in a pressurized production environment. Reporting to the GM: Engineering and working closely with the engineering team, you will be based at the Molteno packing operation as part of our Packing Division in the Grabouw area.

The main responsibilities include:

• Record keeping of engineering manuals, drawings and related documentation
• Assistance in the procurement of equipment and parts
• Maintenance – task requests and telephonic enquiries
• Ad-hoc engineering administration

Requirements:

• Matric
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ working experience in a relevantadministrative position
• Engineering industry experience will be advantageous
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport
• Intermediate MS Office literacy is essential (Excel highly advantageous)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accurate execution of tasks
