Job summary

A leading African financial services group is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join their innovative team. The role involves designing, coding, and maintaining software systems while ensuring quality assurance standards are met. Candidates should possess a relevant first degree and substantial experience in SQL programming. The ideal candidate will also have Azure certification and experience with Power Apps or Power Automate.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience in translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Minimum 5 years proven experience as a SQL software engineer.
• Power Apps or Power Automate experience will be advantageous.

Job Description

To design, code, test, debug and correct programs in software engineering environments within the continuous delivery pipe line as well as provide support and maintenance of systems. In addition, produce software specifications in accordance with the technical requirements, within the framework of the software quality assurance standards.

Qualifications

• First Degree in Information Studies or Information Technology
• Azure Fundamentals Certification (AZ-900) required
• 5-7 Years’ experience in translating business and functional requirements into technical specifications and developing the programming code to create the solutions
• Minimum 5 years proven experience as a SQL software engineer
• Power Apps or Power Automate experience will be advantageous
