Job Description

This role is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our SAS platform, including SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya environments. It requires deep knowledge of SAS architecture, administration, performance tuning, Linux system administration, and AWS cloud services. The successful candidate will ensure the platform's availability, reliability, and security, supporting critical analytics and reporting processes.

Qualifications

• A degree or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• AWS Certification.
• SAS Certifications related to platform administration or programming.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong Linux system administration skills, including scripting, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to create and maintain clear documentation.
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
• Knowledge of database technologies such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) is preferred.
• Proven experience with AWS cloud services and deploying SAS in AWS.
• Extensive experience in administering SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya, including SAS architecture, metadata, and security.
• Familiarity with other BI and Analytics tools.
