The Recruitment Pig in Durban is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to design practical rational fire safety plans for commercial buildings, perform fire risk checks at client sites, and plan sprinkler and smoke clearance systems while ensuring compliance with national building rules.

You will collaborate daily with architects and local fire departments, guide major installation projects to completion, and present cost‑effective fire safety ideas to clients.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Mechanical or Fire) required.
• At least three years of experience in fire consultancy.
• Professional registration with ECSA required.
• Excellent communication skills with teams and authorities.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn; strong team player.
