Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop railway construction projects, creating civil construction specifications and designs based on customer requirements and standards.
  2. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and construction professionals to validate design feasibility and ensure alignment with project specifications.
  3. Use CAD software and engineering tools to refine designs, including creating 3D models and animations using CAD, Civil 3D, and BIM software.
  4. Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate proposed designs and techniques.
  5. Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
  6. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, maintaining safety, reliability, and sustainability standards.
  7. Work collaboratively with the project team to ensure timely, within-budget, and quality project completion.
  8. Identify process improvements and cost savings, presenting recommendations to management.
  9. Lead project team meetings, providing guidance and support.
  10. Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders regarding project progress and changes.
Skills & Experience
  • Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer.
  • Minimum of ten years' experience, with at least five years post-registration in planning, managing, and delivering civil infrastructure projects, including bulk earthworks, roads, and drainage networks.
Qualifications
  • BSc / BEng Degree or BTech in Civil Engineering.
