NGI in Cape Town is seeking a passionate Lecturer in Early Childhood Care and Education to deliver high-quality teaching and learning, develop materials, and support student success. The role includes planning lectures, preparing and marking assessments, providing feedback, and maintaining academic records.

The successful candidate will contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, module moderation, and programme improvement to ensure alignment with industry and regulatory

Qualificações

• Minimum NQF Level 6 Diploma in ECCE; Bachelor's degree or higher advantageous.
• Relevant teaching/industry experience in ECCE.
• Knowledge of higher education teaching, learning and assessment practices.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning with engaging classroom and practical experiences.
• Plan lectures, develop learning materials, and prepare/mark formative and summative assessments.
• Provide academic support and feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
• Supervise teaching practice or Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) placements where applicable.
• Build relationships with schools and industry partners to support placements.
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic planning, and student recruitment activities.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and student-centred learning environment.
• Contribute to curriculum development and programme improvement.
