Placements24 is seeking a skilled Management Consultant to join a premier practice in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. You will advise clients in the energy sector on strategic planning, operational efficiency, and sustainable energy solutions, analyzing market dynamics, regulations, and tech trends to deliver transformative strategies.

The role emphasizes strong analytical capabilities, client management, and the ability to drive value across power generation, grid modernization and energy transition

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Environmental Science, Business, or related field.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in energy, management consulting or related field.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth energy market analysis including trends and regulatory frameworks.
• Develop strategic recommendations for renewable energy integration and infrastructure development.
• Assess operational performance and identify optimization opportunities in power generation, transmission and distribution.
• Support energy transition initiatives and implement sustainable practices.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines, resources and deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client personnel to drive project success.
• Contribute to business development including proposal preparation and client relationships.
