Job description

Our client is looking for an experienced Energy Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of energy projects across their portfolio. The ideal candidate has strong technical understanding, excellent project coordination skills, and a proven ability to manage resources, timelines, and stakeholders within the energy sector.

Duties:

• Lead end-to-end project management from concept, design, permitting, procurement, construction to commissioning.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and risk registers.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, HSE requirements, and quality expectations.
• Monitor progress, prepare reports, and provide project updates to management and stakeholders.
• Drive project performance, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
• Oversee contractor performance and manage site activities during implementation.
• Support grid connection applications, environmental approvals, and technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Energy) or a related field.
• 3–8 years’ experience managing energy or renewable energy projects (solar, wind, storage, or power systems).
• Strong project management knowledge (PMP/PRINCE2 beneficial).
• Solid understanding of energy systems, EPC processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and report-writing skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and a willingness to travel to project sites.
