Job summary

A leading energy solutions company in Cape Town seeks an experienced professional to optimize operations through energy monitoring and analysis. The role involves supporting operational decision-making, troubleshooting anomalies in energy systems, and preparing performance reports. Candidates should have a background in Electrical Engineering and at least 3-5 years of experience with energy monitoring systems, notably VCOM. Only South African residents or qualified permit holders will be considered.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience with energy monitoring systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting O&M teams in large-scale energy projects.
• Ability to interpret data and prepare reports.

• Monitor and analyze energy production and consumption using VCOM


• Support the O&M department in operational decision-making and performance improvement initiatives


• Identify, report, and troubleshoot anomalies in energy systems to ensure smooth operations


• Generate accurate performance reports and assist with energy yield analysis


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant performance and reliability

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with energy monitoring systems, specifically VCOM


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
