Job summary

Network Recruitment International seeks a Senior Product Owner in Gauteng to own end-to-end delivery of a key product feature—from gathering requirements to production rollout and ongoing support.

You will translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans; manage and prioritise the backlog; coordinate day-to-day team activities, sprint planning, and release readiness; and provide line management and delivery oversight for the development team, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and project or project development experience, or equivalent qualification and experience.
• 3 years experience in a managerial, teal lead, product, project or delivery role
• Atleast 5 years in insurance / financial services knowledge
• Experience in product ownership, project coordination, Business Analysis, QA or Software delivery

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery of a product feature, from requirements gathering through to production and ongoing support.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, specifications, and delivery plans.
• Manage and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivery priorities.
• Coordinate day-to-day team activities, sprint planning, progress tracking, and release preparation.
• Provide line management and delivery oversight for the assigned development team.
• Support the feature post-release, including incident management, defect resolution, and enhancement requests.
