Job summary

Cashbuild in Zeerust, South Africa is seeking an End Controller (Internal Applications Only) to ensure stock movements and customer returns are properly documented and recorded. You will check documents, capture dates and signatures, and maintain the End Controller book according to store procedures.

The role requires Grade 12 with related experience, strong numeric skills, and attention to detail. English and local language communication is needed; you must work shifts, weekends and public

Responsibilities

• Ensure no goods leave Cashbuild stores without the relevant documentation
• Complete correct and full documentation
• Capture correct date, time, sequence, and signature on documents
• Ensure all Customer returns are properly recorded in the End Controller book and authorised
• Ensure back up employee available for area of responsibility with shift changes, lunch, and tea breaks
• Sign the End Control keys IN / OUT daily
• All exit / entry doors must be closed if not in use
• Ensure loading/off-loading doors are closed when not in use
• Report all suspicious behaviour and vehicles to Management
• Conduct random searches on employees when they leave the Store
• Offer fast, friendly and efficient service to all Cashbuild Customers at check-in/out
• Direct Customers to relevant person for assistance
• Adhere to Ready for Business standards as per CB Way

Description:

Ensure relevant documentation for all transactions is checked and recorded when stock and / or fixed assets leave the Store or when Customers return stock.

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 and 1 (one) year work related experience or 2 (two) years’ work related experience
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language spoken in the geographical area where the position is available

Key Performance Area:

• Ensure no goods leave Cashbuild stores without the relevant documentation
