Job description

Job Mission / Purpose:

Main function of job: To offer a professional communication link between Stryker and our customer base for the placing of orders, raising of queries, requests for information, and general support. To provide a high standard pro-active support facility to Sales Representatives and Technical Services engineers. To seek opportunities for improving the service provided for our external/internal customers. To actively promote and support Stryker's Sales Activities. To support the wider Customer Logistics team as a whole when and if required.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

  1. Offer our customers a first-class service to complement the rest of the Stryker Corporation.
  2. Process sales orders.
  3. Process quotations, if needed.
  4. Process invoices, if needed.
  5. Maintain and promote growth of our automated ordering systems.
  6. Manage On Time In Full KPIs to ensure timely delivery of products to meet customer requirements.
  7. Proactively seek methods of improving the services provided by the department.
  8. Support the sales and marketing teams in achieving the company sales targets.

Education / Experience:

  1. Proven communication and writing skills.
  2. Customer care experience.
  3. Computer skills.
  4. Minimum Matric or equivalent qualification.
  5. 2 years' experience as an operative/specialist in your area (either in Stryker or elsewhere).
  6. Demonstrate previous team leading experience.
  7. Evidence of involvement in the continuous improvement of the department's processes, focusing on Quality, productivity, and Customer Engagement.
  8. Active involvement in team engagement.
  9. Must be energetic and of a personable nature.
  10. Clear communication skills are necessary.
  11. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
  12. Proactive and the ability to consider the wider picture are important.
  13. Must be conscientious, committed, focused, and professional in their work ethics.
  14. Ability to handle numerous tasks at any given moment and to work under pressure.
