Emergency Response Call Centre Operator - Full-Time | Parklands, Western Cape

  • Reliable transport - early shifts start at 06:00, and public transport or ride-hailing is not dependable

About The Role

As an Emergency Response Call Centre Operator, you will be a vital link between our customers, ER24, and their emergency contacts.

Your role will ensure swift, efficient coordination during emergencies. This includes:

  • Call Handling: Answering and managing emergency and non-emergency calls
  • Technical Support: Assisting with devices, programming, and troubleshooting
  • Administrative Tasks: Data capturing, reporting, and maintaining customer profiles
  • Device Maintenance: Ensuring all emergency devices are functional
  • Shift Relief: Supporting colleagues as needed
Key Responsibilities
  • Operating the Emergency Response Desk
  • Accurate data capturing and reporting
  • Performing daily administrative tasks
  • Relieving colleagues on designated shifts
  • Providing technical support to clients
  • Initiating daily courtesy and test calls
Minimum Requirements
  • Professional telephone etiquette
  • Computer literate (basic MS Office skills)
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English
  • Own reliable transport (early shift requirements)
  • Residing in or near Parklands/Table View preferred
  • Clear criminal record
  • Matric or equivalent

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: R9,000 - R11,000 per month

Experience & Availability
  • Minimum 1 year of call centre experience preferred
  • Flexible for day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Expected start date: as soon as possible
