Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Breakdown Response & Resolution: Attend and resolve electronic equipment breakdowns promptly. Escalate unresolved issues to Shift In-Charge within defined timelines.
  2. Repair & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair failed electronic parts during shift. Maintain logs of repaired items and components.
  3. Preventive Maintenance: Conduct machine health checks during PM schedules or job changeovers. Report and address any early signs of component wear or system issues.
  4. Spare Parts Organization: Ensure required electronic spares are stocked and well-organized. Quickly retrieve parts during breakdowns to reduce downtime.
  5. 5S Implementation: Maintain a clean and organized work area as per 5S methodology. Regularly check and update spares/tools layout for operational readiness.
  6. Shift Coordination: Communicate with the Shift In-Charge and cross-functional teams. Share observations, delays, and repair actions for accurate shift handover.
Key Interactions
  • Internal: Production team, Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance teams, Shift In-Charges, Line Supervisors.
  • External: Occasional vendor or OEM coordination for critical electronic components or service assistance.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications

ITI in Electronics or Diploma in Electronics Engineering.

Relevant Experience

2 to 6 years of hands-on experience in electronics maintenance within a packaging, printing, or manufacturing setup. Experience with sensors, control circuits, PLCs, HMIs, and drive systems is preferred.

Technical and Behavioral Competencies
  • Strong troubleshooting ability in industrial electronics.
  • Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and control logic.
  • Familiarity with machine interface devices and process automation.
  • Knowledge of maintenance best practices and 5S implementation.
  • Proactive, responsive, and able to work under pressure.
  • Reliable and effective communicator within a team environment.
