Job summary

Network Finance seeks a Senior Electronics Technician with extensive experience in PLC hardware, VSDs, servo systems, and industrial control systems. The role involves leading troubleshooting, commissioning and repair activities across multiple sites and providing technical support for advanced automation equipment.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in the industry, strong fault-finding abilities, supervisory experience and a valid driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' general industry experience.
• Strong understanding of PLC hardware, analogue signals, and digital signals.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Extensive VSD knowledge.
• Experience with VSD repairs and commissioning.
• Knowledge of servo motors and encoder feedback systems.
• Strong on-site fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.

Education:

• Relevant tertiary qualification such as an N Diploma, BTech, National Diploma, or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
• Candidates currently pursuing a relevant qualification will also be considered
