ð§ Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test custom PCBs for control systems.
- Program and configure PLC systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron, etc.).
- Develop and maintain SCADA/HMI interfaces.
- Integrate and troubleshoot control and instrumentation systems (sensors, transmitters, actuators).
- Perform field testing, commissioning, and calibration of equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver automation solutions.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
- Support fault-finding and optimisation of electronic and control systems in production.
ð Minimum Requirements
- BEng in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
- 2–5 years’ hands-on experience in:
- PCB design (Altium, KiCAD, or similar).
- PLC programming & fault-finding.
- Control systems and instrumentation integration.
- Working knowledge of communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
- Familiarity with low-voltage systems, signal conditioning, and loop tuning.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites when required.
ð¡ Advantageous Skills
- SCADA/HMI systems (e.g., Wonderware, WinCC, Ignition).
- C/C++ or embedded firmware development.
- EMC and compliance testing.
- Electrical panel design and wiring knowledge.
