Job summary

Xelvin International is seeking an experienced Electrician to join utility construction projects. This role involves installing and maintaining electrical installations in various commercial buildings. Job description

Are you an experienced or aspiring electrician with a passion for technology and a keen eye for quality? We are looking for a skilled Electrician to work on utility construction projects, including offices, healthcare facilities, schools, and other commercial buildings.

As an electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and modifying electrical installations. Depending on the project size, you’ll work independently or as part of a team.

What You'll Do

• Install and assemble electrical systems in commercial/utility buildings
• Troubleshoot and repair faults and malfunctions
• Read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics
• Collaborate with fellow electricians and project coordinators
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment

What We’re Looking For

• An Electrical RED SEAL (Trade Tested), N5 or N6
• Fluent Afrikaans and English (a must, as the company's language is Dutch);
• Experience in utility/construction projects or willing to learn
• Ability to work independently with a focus on quality
• In possession of a valid driver’s license & passport;
• Willing to work in shifts.

What We Offer

• 2-year contract of 40 hours per week.
• A relocation services which includes finding a house, Visa applications and all documentation that is required.
• 25 paid holidays a year (+ potential ADV days)
• Public holidays, with a maximum of 7 per year, which are paid by Xelvin.
• Holiday allowance of 8.33% (instead of 8,0%) over your total gross annual income. Paid each year in May.
• Overtime and shift allowance will be paid by Xelvin accordingly.
• Travel allowance of €0,23 per km, for the use of travelling to work and back home.
• The salary will be around €4100 gross a month (IND-VISA norm for below 30)
