Seeking a top-notch Electrician with PLC and preferably Wireman’s license. Red Seal Electrician (Section 13 or 26D0 essential. 3-5 Years experience in manufacturing or industrial work.

VACANCY: Electrician (PLC)

Requirements

• Red Seal Installation Electrician (Section 13 or 26D) – Essential.
• Wireman’s License (Registered with Dept. of Employment and Labour) – Essential.
• National Certificate in Electrical Engineering (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 3–5 years’ experience in manufacturing or industrial work.
• Strong knowledge of SANS 10142-1 and South African electrical regulations.
• Proficient with testing instruments (multimeter, insulation tester, loop tester).
• Advantage : Solar PV installation knowledge and software.

Key Duties

• Install, maintain and commission electrical systems, wiring and DB boards.
• Issue and sign Certificates of Compliance (CoCs).
• Perform inspections, testing and fault-finding under pressure.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Ensure compliance with OHS Act and company safety protocols.
• Liaise with clients and supervisors to ensure successful project delivery.
