We're inviting applications for the role of Electrician, based at our Media24 office in Johannesburg, reporting directly to our Property Manager.

You'll bring your expertise and passion to maintain and repair state-of-the-art electrical equipment, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable installations.

What You'll Do :

1. General upkeep of the building's electrical installations, systems, and equipment.
2. Perform inspections, recordings, and corrections on electrics.
3. Adhere to safety performance standards, protocols, and lockout procedures.
4. Ensure tools inspections and compliance with safety standards and regulations.
5. Maintain a safe and clean workshop and working areas on floors.
6. Maintain 3-phase controls and supply.
7. Fault finding in electrical reticulation and electrical equipment.
8. Maintain kitchen and other equipment as required.
9. Perform day-to-day maintenance work in and around the group offices and buildings.
10. Fix or change fixtures and fittings as needed.
11. Record and report monthly on all work completed.
12. Track and budget for stock, tools, and equipment.
13. Notify the Property Manager when external contractors are needed.
14. Work with contractors providing SLA services.
15. Assist with ad hoc requests from the Property Manager.

What we're looking for :

Qualifications & Experience : Grade 12 or N3 equivalent, Red Seal Certification, Three Phase Electrical Tester, 5+ years in the electrical field, knowledge of electrics and building maintenance, Health and Safety knowledge, valid driver's license, wiremen's license.
