Job description

An innovative and fast-growing organization embarking on an upcoming project that will shape the future within Mining sector. We are seeking Electrician (Red Seal) for upcoming Mining Projects. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment across mining sites. You will ensure all work is performed to the highest safety and quality standards, supporting both surface and underground operations. This role will be based in Rustenburg.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and maintain electrical systems, motors, and control panels.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in mining equipment and infrastructure.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades on-site.

Qualification and Skills Requirements:

• ValidRed Seal Certificationas an Electrician.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in industrial or mining environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and mining regulations.
• Experience with high-voltage systems, PLCs, and automation is an asset.
• Ability to work in remote or challenging environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
