Job summary

Carlysle Human Capital has an exciting opening for a qualified Electrician to join our technical team in Midrand, based at Kyalami Business Park. The role covers residential, commercial and industrial electrical installations, maintenance, testing, commissioning and fault-finding.

The ideal candidate holds a Trade Test Certificate and Electrician Section 13/26D (RPL), with a Code B driver’s licence and proven practical installation experience.

Qualifications

• Trade Test Certificate and Electrician Section 13/26D (RPL) are essential.
• Valid Code B Driver's Licence is required.
• Experience in practical electrical installation and fault-finding is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• LV reticulation and electrical installations across sites.
• Distribution board installation and wiring.
• Cable installation, termination and testing.
• Earthing and bonding.
• Electrical maintenance and breakdown response.
• Testing and commissioning.
• Completion of test reports and compliance documentation.
• Installation of single- and three-phase utility meters.
• Compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.

We are seeking a qualified and trade-tested Electrician to join our technical team based in Kyalami Business Park, Midrand.

The successful candidate will handle electrical installations, maintenance, testing, commissioning and fault-finding across residential, commercial and/or industrial environments.

Minimum Requirements

• Trade Test Certificate
• Electrician Section 13 (Apprenticeship) or Section 26D (RPL)
• Valid Code B Drivers Licence
• Practical electrical installation experience
• Proven electrical fault-finding experience

Advantageous Qualifications

• Wiremans Licence (Installation Electrician or higher)
• Solar PV / Alternative Energy experience
• Working at Heights & Fall Arrest Certification
• First Aid Certification
