Position Details

Job Responsibilities

1. Testing of motors.
2. Planning of installations.
3. Maintenance of all electrical equipment and installations.
4. Providing services to the production line.
5. Liaising between production, store, and procurement departments.
6. Controlling parts and other store items.
7. Working collaboratively with fellow Chargehands and Foremen.
8. Reporting issues to management.
9. Performing any ad-hoc tasks as required.

Minimum Requirements

• N2 or Grade 12 qualification.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Qualified electrician with relevant certificates/qualifications.
• Knowledge of overhead cranes, welding machines, and electrical maintenance.
• Ability to estimate costs for repairs and services.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to handle stress and work long hours.
