Job description

Our client has an opportunity available for an Electrical Technology Engineer.

Requirements :

• Eng, BSC (Eng) or B Tech degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical trade with National-N-Diploma.
• Registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa would be advantageous.
• Registered as an Installation Electrician.
• Matric
• Code B driver’s license.
• 10 to 15 years’ experience in Design and Maintenance of Electrical systems, Emergency Power systems, Uninterruptable Power systems, Solar and Hybrid systems.

KPAs :

• Lead, implement and manage the technology strategy through the development of an operational and leadership plan aligned with the business tactical plan.
• Review and develop all Engineering asset care assessment audit sheets with related implementation initiatives.
• Approve high-level designs, specifications, and new technology implementation; conduct Factory Acceptance Testing; undertake or assist with the first and final handover of projects.
• Conduct incident investigations, problem-solving, and provide technical support documentation skills.
• Develop and maintain asset maintenance strategies.
