Introduction, Duties & Responsibilities

• Fault find on all PCBs
• Repair electronic circuits
• Perform PCB repairs up to component level
• Read and interpret schematic diagrams
• Read and interpret test equipment results, primarily multimeters and oscilloscopes
• Knowledge of RF and GSM equipment is beneficial

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience
• Minimum N6 or equivalent / National Diploma or B Tech in Electronics
• Experience as an Electronic Technician in electronic repairs down to component level
• Background in PCB fault finding, repairs, and testing
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, PCB documents, and circuit diagrams
• Experience in electronic assembly
• Experience in fast-moving PCB production is advantageous
• Target and deadline driven
• Ability to work under pressure
