Job summary

PEP is offering a Graduate Internship (12-Month, Fixed-Term Contract) in the Northern Suburbs of Cape. This program provides hands-on experience in Energy and Utility Management, with a focus on electrical systems, data analysis, and infrastructure support.

The successful candidate will support the technical management team, contribute to electricity usage analysis, and assist with fridge & backup power projects, while developing practical skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Technical background with a focus on Electrical (Diploma or Degree).
• Knowledge of refrigeration would be an advantage.
• Computer literacy (MS Office, Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Handling of store beverage fridges: callouts & replacements.
• Identifying fridge replacement needs and preparing for approval.
• Electricity usage data analysis.
• Electricity anomaly reporting.
• Assisting with centre backup power proposals.
