Job description

Responsibilities :

• Ensure that all subordinates perform according to their job descriptions, quality operating systems, procedures, and work instructions.
• Develop and foster staff morale through motivation and leading by example.
• Complete all work requests on time.
• Attend to shift breakdowns promptly.
• Ensure correct start-up and shutdown of plant at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Set up programs, conduct maintenance, and provide training on robot welders.
• Assist the Maintenance Department in achieving KPI targets.
• Adhere to housekeeping standards (5S).
• Conduct shift handovers at the end of each shift.
• Participate in departmental reviews (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
• Accurately record and report breakdowns at the end of each shift.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental Regulation (ISO 14001) and Health and Safety Regulations (ISO 45001), including adherence to company policies and procedures.

Key Competencies :

• Completed trade-test as an Electrician.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Working knowledge of Mitsubishi PLCs.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Experience in robotics maintenance and programming.
• Press shop experience (mechanical presses).
• Maintenance and installation of electrical systems.
• Understanding of installation rules, regulations, and machine safety systems.
• Ability to operate and monitor press machines and understand production processes, quality indicators, and scrap management.
• Ability to troubleshoot out-of-specification results and implement corrective actions.
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
