To carry out maintenance and repair tasks on plant and equipment - 6 month contract

POSITION INFO :

Electrical Specialist (POS24271)

Aeroton – Johannesburg South

R 38000 to R 40000 per month

Please Note this is only 6-month fixed term contract based in Aeroton, Johannesburg South

Job Purpose :

To carry out maintenance and repair tasks on plant and equipment

Requirements :

• Trade tested either as an Electrician or Millwright
• 5 years maintenance experience in the Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage environment
• Working Knowledge of AC and DC drives, Be able to program and set up.
• PLC Knowledge
• Experience In HVAC and MV systems advantageous
• Available Immediately as this is only a fixed term contract for 6-months

Duties :

• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks as per schedules
• Carry out repairs on electro-pneumatic systems
• Fault finding and repairs to electrical systems.
• Wiring and panel building
• Maintenance of building and facilities' electrical systems
• Work in a safe manner
• Be Prepared to work shifts, standby and attend to call-outs
• Attend to breakdowns
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with the relevant electrical regulations
