Job summary

A solar engineering firm in Gauteng is seeking an experienced Electrical Solar Design Engineer. Electrical Solar Design Engineer

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must have the following requirements:

Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Technology Degree or a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Must have 3+ years of experience in the design of Solar PV sites =1MW and BESS systems =500kWh.
Must have experience providing technical design support during project implementation and on operational sites for Solar PV and BESS systems.
Must have knowledge of 1000V & 1500V DC systems, surge protection, and grounding systems.
Must be proficient in CAD (AutoCAD Electrical), PVSyst, Helioscope, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be able to interpret and create detailed technical drawings.
Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel.
