Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Professional registration with the SA Council of Quantity Surveyors (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years' QS experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in electrical installation projects (refrigeration/food sectors).
• Strong costing, measurement and BOM skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys for accurate quotations.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings aligned with project specs.
• Develop BoMs from approved work.
• Create and interpret circuit drawings; optimize cable tray layout.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and clients.
• Provide cost estimates and manage project budgets.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
