Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Electrical Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of electrical engineering projects in the Nelspruit region. You will lead all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning to closing, while collaborating with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery and quality.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, has 8+ years of project management experience, and can navigate budgets, schedules and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• PMP certification is advantageous.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical project management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple large-scale electrical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution and communication.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement timely solutions to keep projects on track.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
