Placements24 in Centurion is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to manage electrical construction projects from conception to completion on-site. You will coordinate with clients, site teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure objectives are met and quality standards are upheld.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Electrical Project Engineer to manage and execute electrical engineering projects from conception to completion in Centurion . This role demands a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership capabilities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for all technical aspects of assigned projects, coordinating with internal teams, external contractors, and clients to achieve project objectives. Working on-site is essential for effective project oversight and stakeholder engagement in this key role. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of electrical engineering projects, ensuring all technical specifications are met.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies for electrical scopes of work.
• Coordinate with site teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progress and resolve any technical impediments.
• Conduct site inspections, quality control checks, and ensure adherence to all relevant safety regulations and electrical codes.
• Manage project documentation, including progress reports, risk assessments, and technical specifications .
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns or modifications.

Requirements

• A relevant degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng, BTech, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in managing electrical engineering projects.
• Demonstrated experience in project planning, scheduling, and budget management.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation practices, and project management tools.
• Familiarity with South African building codes and electrical standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
