Job summary

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree and 7+ years of construction project experience.
• Final Secret/TS security clearance (or higher) required.
• PV and energy storage background; solar optimization experience.
• Ability to read design/construction drawings and related calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC and technical oversight for the Cape Town utility optimization project.
• Review contractor submittals and ensure compliance with design documents.
• Prepare monthly/weekly progress reports and support project director decisions.
• Ensure contractor safety and compliance with EM 385-1-1, OSHA and contract requirements.
• Coordinate Independent Government Estimates (IGEs) for changes and modifications.
