Job summary

A leading company in the aviation industry is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to work on electrical looms and harnesses. Job description

We're looking for an Electrical Designer with specific experience in the design of electrical looms/harnesses in the aviation/airline industry.

Must-have qualifications:
  • BTech Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent.
Minimum experience:
  • At least 3 years of experience in:
  • Creating and updating electrical wire diagrams based on project specifications and standards, specifically in the aerospace/aviation/airline industry.
  • Assigning manufacturer parts, part numbers, and specifications to components in diagrams.
  • Managing wiring diagrams on software systems and databases.
  • Ensuring wires are correctly labeled with loom numbers, wire sizes, and categories.
  • Adding shielded cables with detailed specifications, including colors and part types.
  • Generating and maintaining reports such as BOMs and Wire Reports.
  • Tracking and documenting task progress and submitting timely reports.
  • Programming and testing harness testers.
  • Setting up and programming Laser Wire Markers (LWM).
