Electrical or Mechatronic Project Engineer

Location: Bellville, Cape Town

Minimum requirements:

• BEng/BSc degree in Electrical Engineering
• 0-2 years of working experience

Responsibilities:

The role involves supporting the design team with the following duties:

Design of solar PV systems:

• Mechanical and electrical design and drawings for rooftop, ground-mount, and storage systems
• Preparation of bill of quantities
• Quality control

Project Management of Solar PV plant:

• Managing timelines, budgets, and quality
• Sub-contractor management
• Contract management
• Health and safety compliance
• Preparing progress reports

Client Management:

• Managing client expectations
• Conducting site visits
