Description

Our client in the Engineering Industry based in Port Elizabeth is currently looking to employ an Electrical Field Service Technician.

Requirements
  • Trade Test - Electrician (Millwright with strong electrical skills may also apply)
  • 3 Years experience in manufacturing or industrial equipment servicing
  • Valid Drivers License and willingness to travel throughout the Eastern Cape - ESSENTIAL
  • Willingness to work overtime on short notice when required
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing work schedules and priorities
  • Willingness to travel to other branches when needed to assist with workloads or support the national service team
  • Residing in or near Gqeberha
  • Experience working with balers, shredders, or conveyor systems
Responsibilities
  • Install and attend to breakdowns
  • Perform fault-finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance on waste handling equipment
  • Work on both electrical and basic mechanical systems (hydraulics exposure is a bonus)
  • Represent the company at client sites
  • Complete accurate job cards and service reports
  • Operate independently, while communicating with Head Office
