Electrical Engineer / Resident Engineer

BTech / BEng Engineering (mechanical / electrical)

Experience :

5 + Years (related experience) / GOVERNMENT CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCY

Skills and competencies :

The candidate must have previous site experience either in the construction sector or mining sector.

• Metallurgical ore processing experience
• Sound knowledge of environmental legislation and requirements
• Familiar with all ISO systems

Main Responsibilities :

• To provide operational service to the Mine Manager
• Carrying legal appointment
• Ensure maintenance to standards
• Ensure the operational movement of men, material and ore
• Ensure construction to standard
• Provide technical advice to the projects department
• Maintenance, operation of assets and operational management of logistical requirements
• Maintenance of assets
• Site specific standards interpretation of the legal standards
• Determining work priorities
• Calling out specialist expertise when problems occur
