Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Solar experience of 2+ years in Renewable Energy and Utility-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of grid codes and contract structures.

Join a leading global innovator in the renewable energy space. We're seeking an Electrical Engineer to hit the ground running on utility-scale PV Project Design and execution. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge energy solutions, from technical design to project close-out, collaborating across international teams to shape a sustainable future. You will also be involved in troubleshooting Electrical issues and ensuring compliance with Safety Standards. If you have 3-5 years' experience in Electrical Engineering and a passion for innovative solutions, we would like to hear from you.

• Designing Electrical Systems & Ensuring Compliance with Safety Standards
• Identifying and Troubleshooting Electrical issues
• Solar experience is a must - 2+ years' Renewable Energy and Utility-scale Project Environments (10MW+)
• 5+ years' in Electrical/Electro-Mechanical Engineering
• ECSA-registered or advanced PrEng Application
• Strong understanding of MV/HV systems, grid codes and Contract Structures (PPA, FIDIC, etc.)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVSyst, and weather data tools (SolarGIS, MN7)
• Excellent communication, reporting and stakeholder coordination skills
• South African Citizen/permanent resident with valid driver’s license
